Hola.....Wait wrong language Aloha wait.....

...... Bonjour, Where has the week gone?! Well.... umm..... this week has been full of service! We have had the opportunity to stack a LOT of firewood! and volunteer for community events! The one lesson we had this past week was a little crazy. we knocked on this door and the lady was so welcoming and set up a time for us to come back, that fell through.... so we were finally able to set up another lesson.... we got there and it was the most awkward thing ever.... she is a very strong atheist and her husband is a very strong catholic... both are NOT willing to change any of thier beliefs... so we finally asked why they wanted to the missionaries to come back... and her response was because they looked cute and seemed nice.....
     This i was looking through my pictures and found some from the mtc..... and some videos that we made a few weeks ago.... the videos are to big to send but im going to try my best to get them either by email or on my blog! oh and a reminder about my blog, my mommy has posted stuff i have either emailed or sent you so yea.....
Sorry this email really sucks this week haha but oh well enjoy some pictures :)

I LOVE YOU ALL AND HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING WEEK!!!!

TWO MONTH MARK

TWO MONTH MARK!!!!
    Wow how has time flown! I cant believe that two months ago to the day I was giving my last hugs and kisses to my sisters well and parents I guess for the next 18 months! As i was flipping through the hymn book yesterday at church I opened to Count your Blessings, which says....

1.When upon life's billows you are tempest-tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings; name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done.
[Chorus]
Count your blessings;
Name them one by one.
Count your blessings;
See what God hath done.
Count your blessings;
Name them one by one.
Count your many blessings;
See what God hath done.
2. Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings; ev'ry doubt will fly,
And you will be singing as the days go by.
3. When you look at others with their lands and gold,
Think that Christ has promised you his wealth untold.
Count your many blessings; money cannot buy
Your reward in heaven nor your home on high.
4. So amid the conflict, whether great or small,
Do not be discouraged; God is over all.
Count your many blessings; angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you to your journey's end.
I have never realized how many blessing the lord bestows upon us if we are willing to accept them and have the patience to wait for those blessings. Patience is one thing I have really been focusing on... I am by far the most impatient person on the planet.... So as I have been studying it, I have found out that missionary work is all about patience.... lucky me.. so hopefully I will be able to master patience in the next 16 months... Doubt it... But its worth a try! Tying patience in with my last email about faith. President Pratts weekly email was about patience and he said "Patience is to Faith as rain is to a river. Without Patience our Faith is shallow." He proceeds to give examples of patience throughout the scriptures, and quotes from general authorities. One of my favorite quotes he shared was from President Uchtdorf, He taught that patience is not indolence: "....Patience is not passive..... Patience means to abide."
I hope you all have a great week!! I am so happy that I have the opportunity to be here in Canada to share my testimony with those around me. Not only am I hear to help bring those unto Christ and to strengthen others testimonies around me, I am here to strengthen my testimony by doing the lords work! I LOVE you all!
Love,

P.S I tried lobster this past week..... It was ok..... I liked dissecting it better than eating it :)

Transfer Week!!

  It's Transfer week!! I am excited to say that I will be staying in Greenwood for another 6 weeks with Sister Lund! I love this area with all my heart, especially the members of the branch! They are sooo amazing and supportive! This past week has been great! We had exchanges, I stayed here in greenwood with Sister Pierce, one of the Sister Training Leaders, and learned soooo much!! I love being able to learn from different people!
      This week I have been studying alot on Faith, in Alma 32:21 it states... " And now I said concerning faith-faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." Thinking about this scripture ALL you have to do is hope in those things which you can not see but you believe is true. Have faith that the lord has put the things in your life or given you the trials you are facing for a reason. Ways we can strengthen our Faith is by, expressing our gratitude for everything small and big! Keep the commandments, Be OBEDIENT.... this has been a tricky one more me.... well kinda sorta.... crawling my butt out of bed at 6:30 was one of the hardest things.... cause we are three hours ahead of home... so it was hard and still is 6 weeks into it... Scripture Study is a huge faith builder! Study them Everyday!! Before I came out here I was horrible about reading my scriptures and saying my morning and evening prayers.. I can not express how important these things are. They have made such a huge impact on my life the past 8 weeks well 6 cause the mtc doesn't really count. But make the time for them, put the armour of god on in the morning by reading and praying before you go out into the world that we live in today.
       Yesterday in sacrament meeting I was reading through a hymn. As Zions Youth in Latter-Days
  1. 1. As Zion's youth in latter days,
    We stand with valiant heart,
    With promise shining in our eyes,
    Resolved to do our part.
    Upon a noble past we build;
    The future fills our view.
    We face the challenge of our day
    And pledge we will be true.
  2. 2. The truths and values we embrace
    Are mocked on ev'ry hand.
    Yet as we listen and obey
    We know we can withstand
    The evils that would weaken us,
    The sin that would destroy.
    With faith, we hold the iron rod
    And find in this our joy.
  3. 3. Thru test and trial we'll have our fears,
    But we will not despair.
    We're here to serve a righteous cause;
    Truth gives us strength to dare.
    We'll love, and learn, and overcome;
    We'll sing a joyful song,
    As Zion's youth in latter days,
    Triumphant, pure, and strong.
This is such an important song especially in our day today where the beliefs of others are changing. Do NOT be afraid to stand up for what you believe.

    So funny story..... Yesterday while we were out knocking we walked by this house and I looked at the windows and there wasnt anyone standing there and we turned to walk up the drive way when a man appeared with his face pressed against the window and then ran after the door..... as sister gochnour would say i have never seen you so white in the face or jump as high as you just did.... I was freaked out... so we decided we were going to stay atleast 15 feet away from him.... he opened the door and said come in.... so of course we will NOT go in. so we said we dont have time right now we could come back later though.... To say the least we will NOT be going back.... My heart beat was not normal after that until atleast last night before bed....

" In those moment when the light of your faith has dimmed, let your hope for the Savior's love and grace, found in His gospel and His Church, overcome your doubt. I promise that he stands ready to receive you. Overtime you will come to see that you have made the best choice you could possibly have made. Your courageous decision to believe in Him will bless you immeasurably and forever."

Its P-Day!!

 I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July weekend!!! This week has been a great week!! We had zone conference this past Thursday, where we were able to meet the new mission president and his wife! President and Sister Pratt are amazing!!! They bring such joy and happiness with them! On Canada day which was Wednesday we were hoping that we would be able to talk with a lot of gods children...... but apparently they don't celebrate Canada Day here in Greenwood like the Americans celebrate the 4th.....   We went out and there were no people.... no cars.... no one.... Everything was closed.... it was sooooo crazy!!! But yet still a fun filled day!!
     As a companionship we have been able to see soo many miracles happening in our area! This week should be a great week!
  I dont have much time today. But I did want to send a quick email with some pictures from canada day!

I love and miss you all!! Have a great week!!
