Goodmorning :)

This week has been CRAZY, but such a fun adventure! I dont have much time today, so the email may be a little short.
Monday and Tuesday was crazy trying to get the apartment clean and getting everything packed. Wednesday: We were able to stop my some members homes, we had some great conversations with those on the street. We went and got ice cream with a member and we were sitting at the table talking when all the sudden my ice cream fell off of my ice cream cone :( i had to take a picture of it but then i couldnt let it go to waist... so i may have picked it up and eaten it...
Thursday was an adventure. We were suppose to help stack firewood till noon then we were suppose to go to Halifax. It started pouring rain, so we were unable to stack firewood, we decided it would be best if we left earlier than planned since it was raining so hard. We grabbed some lunch and were off. It was raining so hard that i wasn't able to see anything in front of me. it was like someone had put a white sheet in front of me. We ended up pulling over for 15ish minutes because we could not see and the streets were like a swimming pool. We finally were back on the road and it was still pouring. We finally go to the mission office and i sprinted inside. We then had to wait for all of the other missionaries to get there. Once everyone had gotten to the mission home it was a little crazy and loud. We finally left halifax and were on our way to wolfville to get a bed and desk.... did you know that two mattresses, a full size desk and 2 sets of sister missionary luggage could fit into a van? yea we didn't think it was going to happen. But thank goodness the elders were there to save the day. We got to the apartment and it looked like a bomb had gone off when we got everything inside....
Friday: Sister Yadernuk, Sister Law and I have been companions for only one day and we are getting along so well!! I am excited to see what the next 6 weeks will bring into my life!
Saturday: We had a branch activity, the Corn Boil. It was alot of fun! There were a bunch of games, face painting..... and then we played scripture battle ship! It was a lot of fun!!
Sunday: We had a dance party with the kids at our supper appointment! :)

I LOVE AND MISS YOU!!!

what a week.....

oh my lans where to start on this week..... its been a tough week. You really dont know how much you dont know till you go on a mission or get ask questions that you think should be easy peasy to answer. so just a quick recap on the past week.
Monday: What an adventure..... lets just say porcupines and i are NOT friends....
Tuesday: NEW INVESTIGATOR!!! oh how i love old people. our new invsto is 70 years old she is a such a sweet loving person! We had supper at the Coles, they feed us every Tuesday night and oh how i am looking forward to Tuesday nights! Its always story time at the Coles! I love it!!
Wednesday: We had district meeting in Annapolis Royal, We had a great discussion about how ALL of us have been chosen to live in this generation because of how strong we are. We truly are the CHOSEN generation! Oh my lans.... i should not be able to touch a car ever again..... after lunch we were going to the church. I parked the car and went to take the key out of the ignition, only to find that it wouldnt come out.... the key was literally stuck in the ignition.... I gave up after that.
Thursday: We needed an oil change.... two hours later we were finally done. I had noticed that my knee was a little swollen but thought nothing of it, We had a softball game planned for the branch that night, so of course im going to play. (Lets just say i was on top of the world for those three hours). But after words it looked like i had no knee at all....... so i guess we will see what happens with that..
Friday: On Fridays we go see an older women in a nuring home, her name is Ethal. She is the sweetest thing ever! We got to the nursing home and walked in her room and the nurse was there saying she had just gotten home from the hospital, she took a pretty nasty fall :( it was so sad she was in so much pain. but she was so happy to see us!
Saturday: We were able to help a less active move, it was hotter than fire, with the humid it was easily over 100 degrees.... kill me now.... Later that night we were out to Port George out on the coast, there was such a crazy rain storm.... i literally could not see anything in front of me. When we got to Port George it was cleared up, just super foggy, so i had a bright idea i wouldnt need my rain jacket.... psh guess who was wrong.... we were walking back towards the car from knocking on some homes when all i could see was a wall of rain moving very very fast in front of me.... so i rain/wobbled as fast as i could to the car to get my jacket.... those 20 seconds i was in the rain i was soaked... it looked like i had just gotten out of the shower with my clothes on...
Sunday: TRANSFER LETTERS!!!! Greenwood is so great that i get to stay here for another transfer! I will be in yet another Trio! President Pratt must think that i need more supervision or somethin since this is my 2nd trio in 3 transfers :)

I LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL LIKE CRAY CRAY!!!!

Goodmorning!

This last week was a little slow! Monday we were able to go to the shore and have a Branch Family Home Evening! Before hand we were able to go on a little adventure along the shore! The Lesson on Monday night was about our spiritual gps. GPS stands for Global Positioning System, so a spiritual GPS stands for Gods Plan of Salvation. It was so awesome to see everyone involved in it! The beginning of the week was soooooo slow but by the end of the week we had the Bridgewater Sisters here for a visit and were able to go out and work with them. Sister Killpack and I had the opportunity to go out knocking. It was just like being in the MTC all over again! The first house we knocked on the lady let us right in! We were able to have a lesson with her and she is excited to learn more! I have been planning a softball game for the branch and a few other branches for this upcoming week. So Honestly i'm pretty pumped for that!
I hope everyone has  a great week! sorry this weeks email isnt very long! but i have lots of pictures!! oh and yes i am collecting MINIONS..... that picture is only like maybe 25% of them....... :)

ENGLISH VERSION OF MY EMAIL....someone was a little confused(mom) with it being in frech...

Good Morning!!! What a week.... nothing exciting like last weeks incident happened..... but it was still a great week!!

This past week I have been studying Light. I found an amazing talk called The world needs to see and feel your light, by Chad W. Lewis. It talks about sports :) Church talks and sports what could be better? :) well back on topic i guess, this talk is talking about how We need to let our LIGHT shine among EVERYONE. In the talk it gives an example of a football player who played for BYU and got drafted to the Philadelphia Eagles. He stated in his talk..."I arrived at the Eagles facility and was the first player in the tight-end meeting room waiting for my coach to arrive. A tall man walked by the doorway and saw me out of the corner of his eye. After passing a few steps, he popped back and stood in the doorway, looking at me with a big grin on his face. He had a wad of chewing tobacco in his lower lip. With a twinkle in his eye he said, “Hey, Utah!”
“Yeah?” I responded.
“Are you a Mormon?”
“Yeah, I’m a Mormon.”
“Are you a good Mormon?”
“I don’t know; I try to be.”
“Do you drink?”
“No.”
“Do you smoke?”
“No.”
“Yeah, you’re a good Mormon!”
He later found out that the man that had walked by was Emmitt Thomas, the Eagles’ defensive coordinator and legendary defensive back for the Kansas City Chiefs.

As he goes on in his talk He talks about how you can be The Light of Christ by the small actions that you do. Going on he talks about Emmitt again, about how he had been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and when he gave his acceptance speech he talked about Gods Gifts he gives us, He says " Our talent is God’s gift to us. How we use that talent is our gift to him. My sincere hope and prayer is that God finds my gift back to him a worthy one. May God bless you, keep you and continue the good fight of faith."

My favorite primary song talks about letting your LIGHT shine among all of those around you.

Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam

  1. 1. Jesus wants me for a sunbeam,
    To shine for him each day;
In ev'ry way try to please him,
At home, at school, at play.
  2. 2. Jesus wants me to be loving
And kind to all I see,
    Showing how pleasant and happy
    His little one can be.
  3. Chorus
    A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.
    A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
I'll be a sunbeam for him.

  4. How can you let your LIGHT shine for those around you to see it? I love you all!!! And hope you have a fantastic week! LOVE SISTER HARDY, P.S. dont forget you can write me, 1833 Torbrook rd. wilmot, ns

Bonjour!!!!

Bonjour!!!

Jésus me veut pour Sunbeam

1. Jésus me veut pour un rayon de soleil,
Pour briller pour lui chaque jour;

AMOUR SISTER HARDY

OH MY LANDS..... WHAT A WEEK....

This week has been an interesting one......

Well I think the first two picture sums up the whole week..... lets just say it was rainy, muddy, and dark...... that's all im gonna say about it....... 🙈 and yes I was driving... 🙈🙈
Well I don't know how the email can get any better.... Sunday night we had a Fireside that we threw together in about a week and a half time, It was on different members conversion stories, it was such an amazing experience being able to read the conversion stories of those in the Branch. I Had an awesome experience Saturday night, my companion and I were out knocking doors, and this lady answered and she seemed interested and she said to us let me go get my husband, so her husband came to the door and started talkin smack about our church, and how the Book of Mormon was a Fictitious Book and that its not true, after we left that mans doorstep, We felt like we did our best and testified of the truth that we know. So Sunday morning that conversation kept coming back to my mind and how the Book of Mormon is a fictitious book and how its not true, so as I said a prayer before I started to study, I asked if the Book of Mormon was the word of god. ( I have received the answer to this questions many many times before) As I pulled my Book of Mormon out of my backpack I knew without a doubt that it is the Word of God. I didn't even have to open it to know that it is true. I would challenge you all to read Moroni 10:3-5 and ask God if the Book of Mormon is the word of God.

I was going through some of my pictures and I came across one of the girls and I sitting in the car before they dropped me off at the MTC....It has to be one of the best pictures. Kenlees face is probably my favorite, to be honest that is probably what my face would look like if it could this weekend, as She has made the choice to get Baptised. I honestly could not be more proud of this girl. She is a turd at time but I sure do love her!

I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be here in Canada, some days are hard and I want to go home and there are weeks like this where everything goes bad, but then one simple thing can change the whole week! I know that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God and that the Power of Prayer is real!

I LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL!!!! <3
I hope you all have  a fantastic week!!!
