IT'S P-DAY!!!

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!! (well Wednesday anyways) and I guess I can say HAPPY 4TH OF JULY since the three of us are all from the states!!
I hope all of you have a great week! It has been such an amazing week here! We have been able to see so many miracles happen the past week as we have been focusing on the Book of Mormon!! I am so grateful for the scheduled we have! Every morning we have an hour to do personal study, I have been able to read some amazing talks the past few weeks that I just wanted to share with you!! :)
One of the Principles I have been focusing on lately is Faith. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland said in "Never lose faith in your father in heaven, who loves you more than you can comprehend. President Monson said "That love never changes... it is there for you when you are sad or happy, discouraged or hopeful. Gods love is there for you whether or not you feel you deserve it. It is simply always there." NEVER, EVER, doubt that, and never harden your heart" As you sit and ponder about this just remember that no matter what you are loved!!!! not only by me but by our LOVING heavenly father!!!
Not only has this quote impacted my life the past week but it has really helped me know and understand that no matter what we are going through or how we are feeling. We are Loved and watched over! Remember "There may be times when we cannot see any light on the horizon, and we may feel like giving up. If we are willing to believe, if we desire to believe, then the Saviors teaching and example will show us the pathway forward"  We have to have the light of Christ with us at all time and in all things and in all places.
As you read through these I want you to make a note in your mind or wherever of the things you are right now and the ones you want to become.

~Do you want to have PEACE or CONFLICT WITHIN?
~Do you want to be GENEROUS or SELFISH?
~Do you want to be INFLUENTIAL or INCONSEQUENTIAL?
~Do you want to be FREE or a SLAVE?
~Do you want to be HAPPY or MISERABLE?
~DO you want to be KIND and LOVING or MEAN AND CRUEL?
~Do you want to be HONEST or DISHONEST?
~Do you want to be FORGIVING or UNFORGIVING?
~Do you want to be KNOWLEDGEABLE or IGNORANT?
~Do you want to be a person of FAITH or DOUBT?
~Do you want to be TRUSTWORTHY or UNRELIABLE?
~Do you want to be HARD-WORKING or LAZY?
~Do you want to be CHEERFUL or DESPONDENT?

As you sit and think about these remember the first thing on the list is those Attributes of light, that will bring you closer to Christ in all we do. Those are the things that we all want to strive for in our lives!

I love and miss you all so much! especially my munch-kins at home, but its already been a month and its flown by! I never believed the missionaries that said that days felt like weeks and weeks felt like days. But now that im out here it is soooo true! I guess I should have listened to them more offten!:)

Have a great week full of excitement and party's!!!!

Here is a couple more story from the MTC and on the way to the Halifax from Kenzie. Thursday night while taking with President Loards and while he was giving me a blessing, all I could hear was….. WE will be with you though your whole Mission. There was one distinct voice I kept hearing and it was Grandma Marcia’s. At first it threw me for a loop. Because I didn't know what to think. But as I have thought about it I have realized that those who have passed on are right there doing missionary work just like me and that know matter what they will be with me at all times. ( for those of you that don't know Grandma Marcia Passed away a week before McKenzie entered the MTC)
Tuesday Night while in New York waiting for the hotel shuttle there was a homeless man. So we all got some stuff together and the Elders took it over to him….( we put a pass along card in it ) Once he saw the pass along card he throw everything in a corner and peed on it!!! YES HE WENT PEE ON THE STUFF WE GAVE HIM! But on a good note one of the lady's helping us at the airport was super sweet and asked us what we were doing. So we told her and she kept asking Questions. Sister Taylor Had a BOM (Book of Mormon) so we wrote a note saying “ Thank you so much for the help! We truly appreciate it. We want to give you this from us. Because we know how much it has helped our life's”. Then we all signed it. When we gave it to her she started crying!  She keep crying and saying I’m going to take my daughter to one of ya’lls churches! So we got an acceptance and a slap in the face all in one night!  :)

Hello All!!!! Its P-Day Yet Again

Well this week has been a mixture of the good, the bad, and the ugly... ( i think thats how it goes) well we will start with the good! I am officially in a trio!! My companions are great! They are so great I get to get rid of them the end of this transfer and the next :( We had Three new investigators!! Two of which are on date for baptism!!!!!! It is so amazing the way the lord works and helps people! i have seen so many amazing things happen that are unbelievable! It has been a Crazy week trying to reach our goals because we have had so many lessons! But we were able to do it!!!
The BAD....... hmmmmm lets see...... its been a hard week.... but all is well I have two amazing companions that know the perfect things to say to make me laugh and to turn everything upside down!! I am officially 1 month old!!! the reason its on the bad list is cause i lost  the bet between my companions and i about if a members table was round or square.... yes we bet on these things... so on my one month birthday I had to buy the ice cream :(

The worse...Well i kinda sorta hit my head really hard on the van on Monday....  and yea i still kinda have a headache..... so for those of you that know the true me know that this isnt a HUGE surprise....
For those of you in montana im jealous of the storms you have been getting! and those in utah im jealous of the warm weather! we have been under tropical storm warning since yesterday morning and it has NOT stopped raining for one minute..... its cold and windy and rainy... three things that do NOT go well together!!
Well I love you all and miss you!!! Have a great week and ill talk to y'all next week! :)

ITS P-DAY!!!!!!

Well yall its been a crazy week! Tuesday morning we got up and left the MTC at 6 am. We rode the front runner from Provo to SLC, from there we took Trax from SLC to the airport! from there we had 3ish hours to hang out till we boarded our plane to Detroit. I got to talk to my mom, dad and sister! it was so nice to hear their voices! Once we got to Detroit we had to run across the airport to get to our next plane, only to find out it had been delayed 2 hours. So that means we wouldnt make it to NYC in time for our flight to Halifax. We finally were able to fly into NYC after the storm had died down a bit. We missed our Flight to Canada by 45 minutes. Once we landed in NYC we went to the Delta Help Desk. they said they would try and get us a hotel room since our flight now wasnt leaving till 945 the next morning. so after two hours of them trying to find us a hotel they said that their supervisor wasnt going to let them. so we had to call church travel, they were going to find us one becuase they didnt want us sleeping in the airport. so after two and a half hours they finally found us a hotel. by the time we got checked in and ready for bed it was 2 in the morning and we had to be back to the airport by 7:45. We got up and went to the airport only to find out that they had half of us on the flight at 9;45 am and the other half at 8pm. well thats not going to work. and there were no open seats on either of the flights. they finally were able to get us a connecting flight from NYC(Queens) to BOSTON! then from boston we had a 7-8 hour layover till we flew on aircanada to Halifax. We got to boston and hung out well actually slept the whole time we were there. we finally to got to halifax and then we had to wait yet again at immigration because they didnt have any of our paper work done. we didnt get to President Leavitt's home until 2 am. we ate some dinner, and went to bed because we had to be up and ready to leave the house by 7 am. while eating breakfast he came in and said "alright since we missed yesterdays infield orientation ask your companion. here are your assignments. Sister Hardy will be in Greenwood,NS with Sister Gochnour from Holiday Utah. and he named the rest" we went to the mission office watched a 5min video and we were off. 3 of the 7 of us had the opportunity to go to the temple the first day we were there. it is such a small temple! It was such an amazing experience! I finally got to my apartment around 8:30pm Wednesday night. We have done alot of tracting. There are NO investigators here at this point in time. we have one potential investigator but havent been able to set up a time with her. its been great all except my arm. but oh well i guess :)
